worst: the shellac-mani lady (tried a new spot because of a groupon i'd bought for a baby shower which didn't end up happening) doused my nails with acetone multiple times before and after applying the shellac. that is SO not cool and damaging for my nails :(
smile: receiving a text from a friend who is going through a very difficult time, especially today. while my friend was clearly sad, the text evoked the first ounce of strength that made me even more confident that she will be alright.
