trestle on tenth

serendipitous. securing a streetside parking spot for our hertz rental tonight led to dinner at trestle on tenth, a little neighborhood gem which we tried last weekend for brunch. the brunch menu was a bit more unique than traditional american-style brunches, with a number of cured and pickled offerings and european-style entrees, so we have been excited to try out their dinner menu!

we shared the two seasonal dishes - smoked pork soup with chicken, ramps, and green peas, and tagliatelle with asparagus, cockles, and white wine, and a ginormous smoked and roasted pork loin with potato gratin. not generally a fan of large portions of meat appetizers, kevin and i were both pleasantly surprised by the flavorfulness of the pork loin, paired with picked onions.

next time, we'll have to try the lamb-beef burger that was sold out just before we arrived!
