best: pedicure + massage chair (i'm a total sucker for massage chairs!) at spa belles on 23rd and seventh after a hellish day at work. brought capa and travel&leisure with me, and ended up reading three issues of people instead. i think i've found my new go-to nail salon in the neighborhood!
worst: felt a wave of hunger pangs and started to feel lightheaded when we were waiting for a craiglist buyer to meet us outside of the apartment building. not sure if it was low blood sugar levels, but it came on very quickly and started sweating :(
smile: around the same time as i was starting to fall apart, our doorman, steve, received two strombolis from a random woman who had asked him for directions to find a restroom. since he'd already had dinner, he offered them to us and kevin and i (well, mainly me) scarfed them down. kev had also run to the store down the block to pick up granola bars for me *heart flutter*, but i guess you can't separate a girl from her stromboli.
