happy mother's day to the best mom in the world, and all mother's out there!
it was warm (70F) and extremely muggy out this morning, and although kevin and i were planning to take it easy on the japan day 4 mile race at central park, we both ended up feeling the adrenaline of the race and "raced" it. i finished with the fastest splits in the last few years of running - 7:08!
here are the liu ladies all in shades of blues. kevin and i hand-selected flowers for my mother's bouquet from branches & blooms in the floral district ~ peachy pinnk peonies, burgundy ranunculus, green hydrangea, and greenball dianthus. it's one of the nicest florists in the floral district, and when i say that, i mean they take really good care of their plants and florals. they are the healthiest plants i've seen compared to the other shops on 28th street and it's so much fun to go in and see what's in season, and pick out flowers for your own bouquet or centerpiece.
jess and ben picked up six DELICIOUS fresh sugar donuts from federal donuts in philly. we had all three flavors ~ vanilla spice, cinnamon brown sugar, and strawberry lavender.
