adventures with meko: p2

mumeko is in town this weekend (YAY!) and we had the chance to hang out on a gorgeous, warm, and breezy sunday afternoon, unlike our last adventure when the snow and sleet were coming down like bullets of rain.

we made our way through the mess of tourists at the met, and checked out the van gogh: irises and roses, the modern & contemporary, and the china: through the looking glass exhibits. the van gogh was my favorite this time because though relatively small, with just four pieces, the descriptions were vivid and insightful and the artwork was simple and magnificent.

we had some wine on the rooftop and enjoyed the gorgeous open views of the park and the city!
