today my groin muscles were KILLING me (thanks to three sets of box steps on sunday), but kevin wanted to get a little workout in so we headed over to the gym after work for what i thought was supposed to be light stretching.
what actually happened:
- a mile on the indoor track (8-8:30 mile pace)
- 300m of leg fitness exercises and a lot of smack talking from me
- plank, superman, crunches (36), bridge, left side plank, right side plank, a good dose of nonsense from me (60 seconds each, two sets)
- a whole lot of foam rolling and moaning
it actually got a lot of the soreness out of my legs, but i wasn't sure if i would be able to make it home afterwards. i complain, but in the end i'm grateful for a PT as dedicated and willing to put up with my antics as kev :) THANK YOU!
