mel & austin

our circle of cmu friends has incredible strong bonds forged back in college days in pittsburgh, pennsylvania and strengthened through years of friendship, holidays, and trips together after graduation. in the last five years, marriages and families have begun sprouting, and we now have a little group of children in the next generation!

this week, one of my oldest friends from college, melissa, was visiting new york from her new home in pasadena, california, so a bunch of us got together for dinner at co. it's gotten more difficult to hang out with everyone given so many different schedules and growing families to accommodate. it was great to see everyone and hear about recent trips to europe, upcoming weddings, and just generally catching up.

the last time i saw mel was in november 2014. although not obvious by her toned arms and petite physique, melissa actually has three children: austin, 3 yrs and 3 mos in her arms, and hudson & bryant, 7 mos old twins. can't wait to visit them again and meet h&b when we next visit la!
