damn the weather

back in seattle, we managed to sneak away for a little one-on-one time in pioneer square. psq has really started to take shape, with cute little restaurants and bars, coffee shops, and boutiques popping up in the historic neighborhood. it feels like there are new places to explore and discover with each visit.

we were deciding between three new spots we'd yet to try: the london plane, bar sajor, and damn the weather. we decided to try DTW for drinks and small eats as it recently made bon apetit's list of top 50 new restaurants in america

we shared everything - a pear cider from france, puget sound oysters, fries with curry aoli, peach salad with pistachios and vinaigarette, cornichons, and roast beef with english dip. the last was kevin's favorite (not pictured) hahah ... very tasty, but a little on the heavy side for me. we will definitely be returning to try the rest of the items on the menu!
